Today, I experienced a powerful energetic shift when the ancient Egyptian goddess of protection and mystery, Bastet, came forward in a way I have never felt before. Unlike the fiery presence of Sekhmet, this energy was soft and yet deeply "radiant", as the only word I can use to describe what I experienced. It enveloped me in waves of warmth, wisdom, and divine guardianship and if I try to describe the feeling of the energy, I have to say cold and yet warm at the same time. It was like a breeze.

As I moved through the layers of the aura, she was present in all of them, quiet but unmistakable force of alignment and expanded elevation. When I reached the higher mental body, she appeared as a body bathed in radiant light that showed like a colourful aura and a sphere of divine illumination above her head. She had her hands crossed at the heart chakra like the sacred pose of the Egyptian Pharaohs.

The arms crossed at the heart is often seen on the pharaoh's statues and suggests divine authority, protection and mastery over duality. We often see Osiris, the god of the afterlife, resurrection, and eternal life in this pose. When they crossed their arms like this it meant they were aligning with Osiris's power, making sure their transition into the afterlife was divinely protected. The message of the crossed arms in this transmission could also suggest we are being offered that balance between life and death, ensuring the cycles of our true nature, or spiritual mastery and showing control over our destiny and our energy. It's about sacred protection, as if shielding the heart and soul. The vision could be showing us that we are ready for spiritual initiation, greater empowerment, and helping us gain deeper connection to the ancient wisdoms.

Throughout the transmission, a mantra repeated constantly "Oo Ra". The vibration of this mantra pulsed with its sacred meaning, carrying the essence of light, energy, and an activation of pure intensity. It feels like a powerful connection between aura and Ka, between personal energy and divine essence.

This energy is very different from anything I have felt before, it was both grounding and boundless, protective yet expansive. Bastet seems to have come as a guardian, a guide, an initiator into something deeper that is yet to unfold.

At the close of the session, I felt elevated, renewed, and immersed in a frequency that feels out of this world and very alive. This transmission was more than a connection, it was a blessing, a message, a gateway into something beyond words.

Who is Bastet?

She was originally a lioness, and she did show herself to me like that through this transmission, and her energy was so soft I knew it was not Sekhmet. She later took the form of a cat-headed goddess, embodying warmth, watchfulness, and a deep spiritual connection with the unseen. Today she showed herself as the lioness, but I had the inner knowing that it was not Sekhmet.

From Fierce Defender to Gentle Guardian

In the beginning, Bastet was a warrior goddess, similar to Sekhmet, channeling the protective force of the sun to defend Egypt and its people. Over time, she softened her image and became the patron of home, music, joy, and feminine power, but kept her sharp, protective instincts.

Cats were sacred in Egypt, and Bastet came to represent mystical awareness, the ability to perceive hidden energies, and the divine guardianship of souls. The Egyptians often had cats as a way to honour Bastet, because they believed that she protected them from harm and brought peace into their homes.
