Mystery Schools of Egypt and Initiations of Ascension

Each year, as the Solstice and Christmas approaches, we are invited to walk the ancient path of the Egyptian Mystery Schools as a sacred passage of purification, sanctification, awakening, union, and ascension. These temples are alive with mystery codes that lift the soul into the Christ vibration.

Temple of Isis (Philae) - Purification of the Body

The journey begins with Isis, the great mother. At Philae, initiates entered the waters of the Nile to wash away density before receiving higher mysteries. This is the first step of ascension: purification. By cleansing the body, we prepare our energy field to hold more light, opening the way for the Christ flame to dwell within.

Temple of Hathor (Dendera) - Sanctification of the Heart

Temple of Hathor

Hathor, goddess of love, joy, and music, opens the sacred chamber of the heart. At Dendera, her temple is filled with beauty and feminine compassion. This is the second step of ascension: sanctification. The heart becomes the flame chamber, where love and joy ignite the inner fire. In Christ Consciousness, the heart is the sanctuary of divine purity.

Temple of Horus (Edfu) - Activation of the Soul

Horus, the falcon‑god, symbolises vision, clarity, and the awakened soul. At Edfu, the Eye of Horus was invoked to restore wholeness and divine sight. This is the third step of ascension: awakening the soul. The Ba rises, remembering its origin and mission, aligning with the higher path. In Christ Consciousness, the soul ascends into clarity and divine remembrance.

Temple of Karnak - Solstice Gateway

Karnak is aligned with the rising sun at the Winter Solstice. On this day, the sanctuary of Amun‑Ra is illuminated by the first light of dawn. This is the fourth step of ascension: union. The Solstice gateway unites body, soul, and spirit, mirroring the rebirth of the Sun and the rebirth of Christ Light within us. It is the cosmic entrance where integration becomes enlightenment.

Temple of Luxor - Ascension Flame

Luxor Temple is the Ascension Temple, where Amenhotep III is honoured as his ascended Self, Serapis Bey, guardian of the White Flame of Purity. Here the initiate receives the Ascension Flame - the crown jewel of the Mystery School path. This is the fifth step of ascension: embodiment. The soul rises in purity, the body becomes the living temple, and Christ Consciousness is celebrated as the eternal flame of union.

Walking Together through the Egyptian Mystery School

This Mystery School path is about visiting the Egyptian temples through meditation as well as about embodying the wisdom of each of the temples. Each year, as the Solstice returns, we walk the same path anew: purification, love, vision, union, and ascension. Each cycle reveals deeper layers of the White Flame, carrying us forward with clarity, joy, and divine union.
