Honouring the June Solstice in the Land of Ra

The June Solstice which peaks on June 21st, is a pause in time, a moment where we reach zero point. There is no past and no future, it's a NOW moment. It's like a pause between the in breath and the out breath. "Solstice" comes from the Latin word solstitium, which literally means "Sun stands still." In that moment we have access to clarity and downloads, quantum alignment and new timeline potentials. We have a moment where we integrate shadow and light and can often awaken through deep cellular remembrance.

Ancient cultures honoured the moment of Solstice as a marker of cosmic alignment and renewal. In Ancient Egypt, the Sun was revered as a divine presence as well as a life-giving force and the ancients aligned their temples with the stars to commune with the divine cycles. In Karnak and Abu Simbel, shafts of sunlight penetrate hidden chambers during the solstices, making these temples solar gateways of the seen and unseen.

The time of June Solstice precedes the heliacal rising of Sirius, or Sopdet, the star whose return in the morning sky symbolised the time of the Nile’s sacred inundation. This marked a time of fertility, and divine order for the ancient Egyptians. This is the true New year that is governed by stars, and not by the calendars.

This is a powerful window that invites us to pause, align, and receive. Khepri, the Sacred Scarab who rolls the sun across the heavens, reminds us that our transformation happens on a daily basis, not just seasonal. Light Codes come streaming through the solar gate on this day carrying frequencies of remembrance, and rebirth initiating us into a more enlightened state.

Consider your own temple, your body on this day and how this moment helps to illuminate you and the deepest parts of yourself and your own Holy of Holies. What truths are you ready to awaken to and what shadows are asking to be brought into the light for healing and rebirth?
